Comcast Smart Solutions Brand Video
Comcast Smart Solutions launched in 2023. It was my agency’s job to design the brand and make it look great. I wrote and helped design their website, but my favorite part of the launch was creating this brand video. The goal of Comcast Smart Solutions was to Make Smart Simple, strategically deploying small-scale smart technology solutions to increase operational efficiency for a variety of business types.
At launch Comcast Smart Solutions had six types of smart technology and five target markets. They wanted to feature every combination of technology and market in two minutes. I’m not a math guy, but I knew from the start that would be tricky. That’s a lot of information in not a lot of time.
Despite the challenge this video wound up being both elegant and educational. Every instance of smart technology deployed in the video is taken from real life. Spare copy is used to convey complex operations as simply as possible across a cityscape that shows every possible customer type. I worked closely with animators and designers to make sure everything was accurately represented, even in an abstract form, and years later I think it paid off. This thing still looks really cool!
